Creature Sanctuary

Into lush gardens and tall hedge fences you wander, led by the playfully swooping silver drake above your head. Flowers and vines of all sort seem to be growing from the very bricks of the tall castle wall surrounding the entire area. "I love this castle! The vines grow the yummiest berries in the fall!" he croons happily before landing back on your shoulder and nuzzling your hair.

As you pass a large wooden door, you are greeted by a cheerful looking feline guardian, wearing a festive spring dress covered by the same flowers that you saw in the garden. "This is Tae Chi, the castle guardian! They say that Jewel once cast a spell on her beloved pet cat, and she soon became a human like guardian! Now she watches over all the creatures in the castle." he smiles sweetly.

"Look, look!" the little fellow explains, pointing in the direction of an overstuffed chair resting next to the fireplace. Sitting quite comfortably atop the soft chair you see a small, winged feline, looking quite content with itself. "That's the local angelie! There are only a few of them in all Sanori. You're very lucky to see one!"

You smile at how excited the little drake is and continue down the ancient halls, listening to the sound of your footsteps echoing off the brick walls. You peer into door way and notice a strange looking blue cat warming itself in a puddle of sun. "That is a calocat. They make wonderful pets, but keep them away from your strawberries! They eat them up like crazy!"

"Ahem..." You hear a tiny voice behind you and spin around to see who it might be. Surprisingly, you see that it is a small group of mice all dressed up in wizard robes and carrying gemmed staffs. "Those are the mousers..." Selakity tells you very silently, trying not to draw attention to himself. "They are wizards that help protect this castle. I bet the cats don't bother them..." You snicker slightly and bow to the mousers, letting them pass.

You finally reach the entrance to the castle again and look out onto the lovely blooming garden. "Don't worry, traveler," the drake tells you, "You can always come back if you'd like!"

Before you get the chance to leave the lovely castle, a royally colored Digeral crosses your path, not paying you an ounce of attention. You grin and walk out through the front entrance.
