The Mini Garden

You wander into the garden labled as the mini garden. Looking around, you notice how it got it's name. Tiny hedge walls line the entire, tiny area, so short you could step over them. Dozens of mini wild flowers speckle your vision, creating a blanket of shimmering tiny petals. Even the benches and fountains are mini, small enough to fit a chipmunk. As your eyes wander around this amazing little place, a little voice reaches your ears. "Hello." it says from below you. You look down and see a little blue cat creature smiling at you. "I'm the gaurdian of this place. Well.. a mini guardian, anyway. My name is Yoeno," he says, leading you forward.

Watching your step, you follow the little guardian into the tiny garden. Little birds flutter and fly past you as you go, tickling as they swoop past your skin. "There are many creatures to see here," Yoeno tells you, stopping infront of a tiny gate. Peering beyond the thin iron bars, you see many creatures, all small, playing and resting in the garden ahead. "I'm afraid you can't fit through the gate, but I'll tell you what everything is," he says, motioning for you to sit to see better.

You sit, and the little gaurdian points out a group of very small dragons. Not unlike drakes, you think. These are full grown dragons, only mini. "Those are the Teelo dragons. They're very small, but very active and strong."

Pointing to another small group of what looks like little humans, Yoeno continues, "Those are the DewDrop mages. Thousands of years ago, they turned themselves into tiny men and women so they could protect these creatures, but they could never turn themselves back to normal."

You hear tiny little meows and notice a few small cats playing amoung the other creatures. "Those are mini kitties. No one knows how they got to be so small."

"Those," he says, pointing to a small herd of tiny unicorns, "are the unis of the area. They look a little different than their larger cousins, but that's because they need to be more plump to stay warm with their tiny bodies."

Yoeno smiles and directs your attention to a couple of small winged creatures fluttering along through the tiny tree tops. "Those are the mini gryphons. They're very rare, indeed, but also very friendly."

"And there are my favorites; the mini Kao. They're very cheerful little things, and love to bound around through the meadows. You just have to make sure you don't sit on the poor little things."

Among the many creatures, a tiny bed of flowers sways in the slight breeze.

"And there are the serpents." he says, pointing his furry grey finger toward the tiny lake. Four little colorful heads pop out of the water, all looking toward you, then pop back down again.

"Well traveler, that is all that is here now. I'm sure if you come back though," he says, watching as you stand up, "more creatures would come out to visit you. Please come back and visit again soemtime." he continues before smiling and walking off into the tiny meadow.
